“A good feeding relationship with your child starts at day one and makes all the difference between joy or struggle in feeding”
 - Ellyn Satter (Dietician, Nutritionist, Family Therapist, Researcher and internationally recognised Author)

The Learn to Eat. Love to Eat. Baby Workshop will help you begin the journey of teaching your child to eat and enjoy food.  At our Baby Workshop, you will learn:

  • how to prepare for a positive start to eating;
  • how to adjust your daily routine to include mealtimes;
  • how your baby learns to eat a range of food and enjoy mealtimes;
  • your role as a parent in helping your child learn to eat;
  • food ideas to get started and to continue to encourage the development of eating skills, and
  • about safety at mealtimes.

We aim to provide information in a relaxed atmosphere where you can:

  • feel comfortable asking questions;
  • share experiences;
  • discover a variety of tools that will help you get started, and
  • leave with confidence knowing how to help your baby learn to eat and enjoy mealtimes.

All our advice is based on recent research and evidence in the field of infant and child feeding.

If you have a child who is about to commence solids, or is in the early stages of learning to eat, have a chat to your parent group about doing the Learn to Eat. Love to Eat. program together in a private workshop.  Public group workshops are also available.
