Professional Group Mentoring
Â
Mentoring for Speech Pathologists who want to feel more confident, less alone and better equipped to support families with feeding challenges.Â
Â
If you’ve ever wished you had someone to ask, “What would you try next?” — you’re in the right place.
Our Professional Group Mentoring Program is a  6-month small group experience for Speech Pathologists who want to grow their skills, ask real questions, and stop second-guessing their feeding therapy sessions.Â
âś… Live online group sessions every 4 weeks
âś… Small Groups (max 8)
âś…Â Led by Nicole Wu (Speech Pathologist/Feeding Therapist)Â
Â
Feeding therapy is complex - and often isolating. Â Whether you're new to feeding or just dipping your toe in, it's easy to feel unsure, overwhelmed, or like you are missing a piece.
That's why we created this supportive mentoring space. Â
To help you go from:
- "I'm not sure what to do next..."Â
- to "I know what I'm doing and I'm not alone."
6 months of support, community and confidence-building.Â
Each month, we meet live on Zoom in a small group for a 60-min session.  You'll receive:
- A themed mini-lesson (15-30min) with practical strategies
- Group size capped at 8 participants
- Access to recordings of mini-lessons and prepared case discussion.
- Opportunities to discuss your tricky cases  and ask questions.
- Downloadable resources + tools to use in therapy
- A trusted space to ask any question (no judgment) and reflect on your practice.Â
- Â A network of peers that can continue to support each other, well after our program is finished

Responsive Feeding in Practice — how to use RFT in messy, real-life sessions

Who It's For
This group is for you if:
- You’re a Speech Pathologist working with children
- Relatively new to feeding therapy or feeling unsure about how to support families with feeding goals.
- Wanting a safe, supportive space to grow your skills
- You want to feel more confident in the way you approach therapy
- You’re craving connection with other Speech Pathologists doing the similar work
- You often think: “I wish I had someone to ask about this…”
- Looking for real conversations about real cases — not just more theory
- You want an opportunity to reflect on your practiceÂ
- Â
Each month we meet live online for a 60-minute session with a themed mini-lesson and case discussion and opportunities to discuss tricky cases and ask questions and reflect. Â No question is too basic. No experience level is too small.
You don’t need to be an expert. Just curious and ready to grow.
You don't need to figure this out on your own.
Â
Many Speech Pathologists feel intimidated when faced with clients who have feeding challenges. Â Unfortunately, it is hard to build your confidence when you only see feeding clients sporadically. Â It's especially hard when you are trying to figure it out on your own! Â Â
This program will help you:
-
Feel more confident supporting feeding clients
-
Build your clinical reasoning and language with families
-
Problem-solve tricky cases with guidance
- Engage in reflective practice to support your growth
-
Connect with a small group of colleagues who feel the same way and want to build their skills and confidence too.Â
